Last term

Well, the true is that the last term wasn’t that exciting but I think the most memorable thing was that we had a subject named “Psicopatología” (psychopathology) that we could go to the psychiatric hospital of the Salvador Hospital.

This subject is teaches by Luis Alvarado and Jose Luis Rossi. I really like this subject because is the first one is psychiatrist, and that’s why we have seen some patients on the Salvador’s Hospital. Well, the thing is at we could see patients for Alvarado because he works there (at the Hospital), so he does mostly the practical work with us. On the other corner, is Rossi who is a psychologist and teach us some things more academics about this subject, whit him we don’t see any patients; however we learn a lot about his experience on this field.

I like that subject because I could saw in the practice how the personality disorders and structures are working, and the most important we had the opportunity to see patients directly, not by videos or stuff like that. But it is interesting because we learned things like normality it’s not a healthy parameter necessarily, even more, this factor could be trigger for a psychopathology whose name is “normopathy”. This affection talks about people that it can’t be “abnormal”; it just can’t be act different to the social rules.

So, we really learned about a lot of stuff and we could see it.

  1. Hi Salvador!
I agree with you. I really liked psychopathology too 'cause we had the first contact with mental afections. In other side, it was very interesting because it's a clinic class, the first one in our career. At last, I think it's funny that Alvarado teaches us because he's very maaad.JAJAJJAJAJA

    See you

  2. That sounds really interesting, in fact, because of psychopathology I wanted to study Psychology, but at the last minute (year to choice, actually) I fell in love with Anthropology. I'm glad you liked it!
